2020 thats a number most would not forget in near future. yet everybody would search for the time of the year 2020. Almost all new year resolutions of 2020 would have gone for a toss by now or at least mine. I am writing this from some remote village far away from the the Tech hub where I usually would have been during this time of the year busy criss-crossing traffic and thinking of next weekend, work, yet I just finished talking to my US counterpart. All goes well with work. This is the norm a new normal. Haven't thought something of this sort would happen at all, not even in wildest of dreams. Many a times when alone I have thought of going back to this far off village leaving all the so called city life and settling here, but 2020 has given an opportunity - a preview of it. Have been here for about 5 months now- enough of a preview. Got all data points, felt all of being here. I know what to expect and how would it be. I realized and experienced the saying "Grass is greener on other side". My running is not walking anywhere. No run for this year since March-2020.Hoping to start the usual running regiment sooner and hoping for best times to come.

My First Marathon
My First post this year .. has some good news to share. I have completed my first marathon on 27th may. its my first ever attempt after my school days. TCS has organized the run. recently sowmhow I have been pulled towards running and was inclined towards this. Got to know about this event couple of months ago and started practicing. Though the practice was going on, as usual with irregular schedules the feeling of running itself has imbibed in me well. During the last week before the event there was absolutely no practice at all.
on the day of marathon, reached the kantereva stadium on time took BMTC. Until then, I never knew there is BMTC direct service from my place to stadium. Once reached astonished to see huge crowd already waiting. Its a huge crowd of more than 10k people.
Finally the run started, more than running itself, running among the crowd seemed to be a big challenge. All through the 10 km the road was crowded. Though I have never ever tried a stretch of 10K before, it all ended very well in about 80 minutes. A very good experience to cherish always.

Shutting down 2011
Time to close 2011 file ..err life. In short this year was a roller coaster ride, with lots of unexpected failures err challenges. I am annealed, now getting in the right temper to grow further. My continual education never continued after 2nd semester, yet another challenge.No much of community service which was aspired took off. Made some new friends hope they last forever. professionally things were good.
Another significant thing about 2011 is, this is my last year as a bachelor, I am getting married shortly. Expect the life to be as desired even after getting married.
Enjoyed biking with friends and traveled more across the interstate highway frequently. Learnt new things which made life much interesting.
Being said that, Now for 2012, Have well laid plans in place, hope all would go as expected. There's much to conquer and Miles to go in 2012 before I rest.. cheers.

Taste of Failure
There's a reason for me not showing up on the blog for while.Things in life din't go the way I wanted it to be. For the past one year in spite of all my best efforts to get things done, I did not fare well. I din't know how did this all happen. All my plans were shattered,Every move of mine was hindered and finally ended in a deep mess and finally I failed.
I wish, I could roll back an year and start all over again ,Alas I helpless !!. All I can say is somethings in life are destined, no matter how much ever effort we make to alter, it fails. But there's always something good in every failure. I am now completely revamped,strong, have a very good experience, I feel I am trained with all hard things in life and I am now confident of taking the new road in front of me to make it a big success.

B'day
This is just a Blog to fill in something on my birthday. This Birthday I was at home and did not fanfare much . Clear signs of growing old. It was a day with a small function at home, so my b'day was not a great event to celebrate.
There have been lot of interesting things in life in the last year. Can't write all in one blog. I am not yet in track to enjoy life. I should be able to write something useful over a period of time. I wish I should be back soon. cheers.

Birthday ...one more time
Its nice to cleberate my Birthday one more time,I am now 3 years past the quarter century.This time too with all my friends around the day was fantastic.Last year resolutions were evaluated and audited and was found to be good :),New year resolutions were made. New year new wishes, new friends and new life I am being in life every moment. I am taking forward some message from "The Landmark Forum".my personal life has been good as i wished it to be,though not much changes in the professional life. New friends entered in to add more color to life.Thanks too all my friends to make it happen this time too. last year celebrations here

Wow..what a wonderful day was it
Day: 23rd of July 2010.
Mood: Whimsical.
Day : Friday
This special friday started with a strong thud from my roommate reminding me of the itinerary for the day.I had instructed him strictly to wake me up a bit early from my normal time of nine :) .Thanking him for the same,I glanced at the bedside timepiece which evinced 4 minutes past 7, thats about an hour left before we planned to start our long awaited team outing.The destination after dilly-dallying was pinned to IFC off Mysore road considering the petty size of the team.When I finished with my morning chores its almost 45 minutes past seven. I called up SP to inform of my readiness on time so that he could pick me on the way. Nothing to mind about the SPs' timeliness as he is always well-timed.At eight,I was Picked up by VK and SP on-time,and started our journey through the maze of ORR towards BTM, to pick up SU.After an hour of arduous drive we picked up SU, thanks for 'A bold new drive' which graciously maneuvered us.
we decided to take NICE for the drive to be nice and did so, on the way quested for a restaurant to have a quick breakfast as I and SU needed badly and VK has no problem in accompanying us. SP is always astute, not to have food outside.Breakfast at 'sagar' was conventional.
Remembering our other two mates KK and MK, we instantly rang, only to get to know that they were on the way almost same as us on time to destination. This was a harbinger of the good times ahead, along with their company.
Reached IFC around 11 Am, KK and MK trailed us by 15 minutes.The mood is elated and after a few formalities and clicks,when we decided to go on we saw KK come running with THE DREADFUL phone ringing,he promptly handed over the phone to SU, saying "SU, Some Depot Issue man".I Could notice that all our face turning gloomy. SU attended the call and after few give-and-takes turned to us and uttered 'Paragon FTP Issue at w2 yaar !!' though we were bit relaxed on hearing this, not completely out of apprehensions of being delayed as we are beholden to solve issues. SU and KK worked assiduously with moral support from us to close the issue but it took not less than 30 minutes even with their adroitness of handling issues. we never missed a moment to enjoy with teasers and badinage flying all over without missing anyone. Few more photos, especially displaying VKs'agility added colors to the mood before we entered IFC finally.
Its now fun time..there were total of 20 rides to be completed and the fun started off with mirror maze, really wonderful amusement which confounded our brains soon after entering in.we all finally came out with hearty laughter only to find KK missing. Its almost another 20 minutes before we welcomed KK with great applause. He was struck in the maze for extra long time to find the way out. Its the discussion on 'how KK would be coming out' and comments from each of us during our wait made it more interesting.By now 'I am feeling Hungry yaar ..' started lingering in everyones ears' thanks to MK. with due respect we sent MK to refuel herself accompanied by KK, by that time I,SP,SU and VK ventured onto skating ring. we were agog on seeing the shoes,the rink and the ambiance as a whole, soon SP decided to back out remembering his wrist and decided only support us, I,VK and SU dared entered the rink and had a whole new experience of having foot on the wheels literally. Its after one fall-back I quit, but VK and SU continued to enjoy even with many fall-backs.trademark nature of exploring new ventures. By now they were joined by MK and KK after their refuelling.KK prolonged his venture and faired well,MK as me quit soon. All in all we enjoyed a lot in the rink.
Action filled active morning prolonged into late afternoon when we completed Roller coaster,Go Karting,Dashing cars and Watergun in the order but at each stage our excitement was sky rocketing.Not to mention, none of us worried about the second DREADFUL call as we are by now in a furore.After all this, all our alimentary canal started drying up, everyone felt the need for nourishment.Its Mr.Mak who filled our tummies seasoned with assortment of ice creams generously,which put us back on track. Most of the Lunch discussion was focussed on getting tips from VK on 'how to be on diet' and personal experiences of not being corpulent et al. Fairer of the species are made target, for making life interesting.
Of the events in the evening session to be mentioned are the 4D theater and Artificial Beach. we were astonished with the experience we had. we had a REAL feel of being in the movie rather than watching a movie.It was awesome. Finally decided to wind-up the day with the visit to artificial beach as the sun was moving farther. Artificial Beach had a very good relaxing ambiance. Enjoyed in the water which refreshed a lot. Again SP and KK played safe by not entering the water. Our efforts to get KK into water were in vain.
Now, its time to depart, we all started back home after a strong cup of coffee,thanking VK for burgeoning the idea of outing.It was a wonderful day for all of us with all refreshed and relaxed.hip-hip hurray ..
